THE PLAN

Pacific Theater miniatures are done, the goal here is to test print each of the components using some manufacturers.  Cards up first to get colors and alignment right; still need to finish layout on rulebook, a little art left in there to do too; boards and tokens; ah the box, figuring out how big this will be… I am planning on launching this like 1st ed. with punch outs for standees since the metal line existed.

I did this for two reasons, first standees make a board game table ready right out of the box and with nice artwork, easy… plus like I said the metals now exist.  The reason why metals first, since the sculpts are all digital this time (yes Andy Cooper from West Wind and others hand sculpted all those minis last time).. translation to injection molding will be faster, not easier and cheaper… well, you know that one right, good, cheap and fast, you are lucky to get 2, never get all 3… well I will keep you posted on that. So a 1st ed out first followed quickly by a 2nd ed with plastic injection molded minis!!!

 

TIMELINE

At this time due to tariffs and all, I am watching a launch date around mostly tariffs and taxes. Production costs I am doing for another game are up, but the tariffs and taxes are the real killer and unpredictable… everything will be ready for production together though!
